Abstract

Deep philosophical, logical, and mathematical insights can be found in abundance in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Here, the foundational Indian logic systems of Nyaya, Mimamsa, and Buddhist logic are examined so that we can show how they might inspire and improve modern methods in computational reasoning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence (AI). In this, we investigate how these values or ideas can support the revolutionary progress of ethical, explicable, and culturally relevant AI by comparing ancient reasoning techniques with contemporary algorithms. Using Indian logical notions like the Nyaya syllogism and Pramana (means of knowing), the research suggests a hybrid computational architecture and assesses its potential for machine lea rning interpretability and decision-making models.
