Techno-Traditions: Digitizing and Applying Indian Knowledge in Daily Digital Practices

The name “Techno-Tradition” was created by fusing the words “technology” and “traditions.” It demonstrates how the old knowledge of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) and contemporary technological tools—particularly computers, software, and digital platforms—have been combined. A broad spectrum of conventional proponents of the organized incorporation of IKS into formal education at all levels is included in the IKS. IKS encourages cultural continuity, environmental awareness, and a balanced way of living. Strong instruments for recording, interpreting, and sharing traditional Indian knowledge are provided by artificial intelligence (AI). AI can help with the interactive study of classical languages, digitization of old writings, and individualized health suggestions. IKS’s accessibility, relevance, and applicability in the twenty-first century are improved by its combination with AI. When combined, they can make a substantial contribution to creating a future that is knowledge-rich, culturally anchored, and sustainable. Disciplines such as architecture, astronomy, mathematics, yoga, Ayurveda, and ethics continue to influence modern living through holistic well-being and ecological behaviors. Applications such as yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, and Vaastu-based architecture are still very much in use today. Despite their importance, IKS is frequently misunderstood by the general public and underrepresented in contemporary educational institutions.
