Abstract

The present study attempt to know the financial provisions of constituent college libraries of Karnataka. The Government and UGC found to be the major source of finance for these libraries. The average UGC assistance is found to be Rs. 1,69,643,and the maximum assistance is Rs. 2,30,000. The library expenditure is found to beinadequate to meet the requirements of the users. The correlation coefficient is found to be positive but insignificant.
