Abstract

The emergence and convergence of modern technologies which is called ICT has caused a revolution in all fields, especially the field of library and information services. Moreover, it has repositioned the frontiers of academic library resources, operations, and services as well as expectations of user groups. In addition, ICT has had an impact on elements closely related to human resource development including performance, work productivity, training and job satisfaction. This paper attempts to deal with ICT and the important role it plays in human resource development in libraries in detail.
