Access to knowledge is very crucial for social and economic development. Knowledge available should be equally accessible, whether in rural or urban areas. But because of distance and dispersion, information is not reaching the rural areas. But with the aid of information and communication technologies, it is possible to reach the rural communities and provide them with the need-based latest information. The paper discusses an attempt made to provide information to the rural communities through ICT.
