The increasing utilization of web resources is attracting faculty and students worldwide. WWW has attracted the attention of educationalists, faculty and students around the world as a potential teaching and learning medium. Today, many medical libraries have set up remote access to their collections, allowing medical professionals to use web resources. The main aim of this paper was to investigate the utilization of web resources by the faculty members and postgraduate students in medical college libraries of Coastal Karnataka. A questionnaire-based survey of six medical college libraries in Coastal Karnataka was conducted. After the investigation of utilization of of web resources, it is observed that faculty members and postgraduate students of medical college libraries in Coastal Karnataka have easy access to the Internet and are using various types of web resources.
