The success of any organization depends upon its competent and motivated employees. Achievement motivation is one of the types of motivation. This paper tries to test the scale for measuring the impact of job related behavior on achievement motivation. In all the sample consisted of 574 employees working in Information Technology, Hospitality and Telecom sectors in cities of western India namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Surat. The data was collected by interviewing them personally or through internet or both using a structured questionnaire between April-September, 2017. An estimated model of job related behavior was developed based on the questionnaire and its variables. It was found that the overall constructs for job related behavior were found reliable and valid. Based on Absolute, Relative and Parsimonious fit measures it was found that all values are within the acceptable limits hence it can be concluded that the overall model is valid and the data fits into the model. The study also has practical implications. A positive relation between the job related behavioural factorsand other factors namely 'Job status', 'Meaningful, interesting work', 'Benefits, vacations, sick leave, pensions, insurance, etc.' and 'Company image'showed that employees look the job from various angles. A positive correlation between 'I am not afraid of accepting any kind of work given to me' and 'Accepting responsibility' was found from which it can be concluded that managers should give responsibilities to employees who are ready to take risk and learn different kind of job. Thus it can be concluded that 'Job related factors' have impact on the achievement motivation of employees.
