Abstract

The number of students aspiring to do MBA or Post Graduate Degree in Management was skyrocketing in 2010. The number of Master of Business Administration's or Management Post graduate seat and colleges mushroomed in India. After 2012 the number of management Institutes started closing down, and till 2014 reached a stable state. The basic reason for closing down of these institutes was lack of students or the AICTE or UGC norms. This has created a sense of competition among these institutes. In this paper a model of Ideal syllabus of MBA program is being developed. The important factor's identified are defining the evaluation method, course content and objectives, tentative schedules and faculty details, Evaluation/Assessment of a course, and defining the non-conventional teaching methods. Based on these factors a model was developed and evaluated in this Paper.
