In this paper “Impact of demonetization on outwards foreign direct investment of India -special reference to Asian countries” researcher made an attempt to summarize Indian Outward Foreign Direct Investment (OFDI). The OFDI considered simply an investment for generating capital for global enterprises but also as a financial driver for aimed nations towards financial and economic progress and expansion. An attempt has been made to analyze each and every aspect of OFDI in the pre and post demonetization period of India and its impact on OFDI of India. It was evident and established that FDI (both inward and outward) could be a win-win condition for mutually the undertakings whether country of origin or foreign nation involved. The investors could gain cheaper access to products/services and the host country can get valuable investment (Shimeles, 2016) This paper witnessed that how Demonetization (Process as well as an act of stripping some legal denomination of currency due to some national level contingencies) occurred in Nov, 2016, affected locally as well as internationally an Indian inflows and outflows of foreign currencies A comparison of five, randomly selected Asian, country wise, randomly selected, sector wise as well as year wise outflow of Foreign Direct Investment (OFDI) and a detailed argument with all facts and figures over and done with on its significance, role and impact on Indian economy.
