Indian agricultural sector has changing with very accelerative way, indulging modern technology while farming in current scenario. Moreover, farming mechanization has been occurred in agriculture sector rest of the country. The farmers are moving towards the new technology for farming rather than by using conventional methods. Indian agriculture has varied in terms of fertility of land and climate too; accordingly there has been seen sea changed in seeds, pesticides, insecticides etc,.
Nanded district has different cropping patterns because of insufficient water. The state government has declared drought prone area since last five years. Therefore, in kharif season farmer moving to cash crops which are namely soybean, cotton, and pulses. These crops have produce by farmers mostly in the Nanded district, because these crops required less water as comparatively than other crops. In the current scenario agricultural produce marketing has became challenging because of increase commodities markets and commercialization of agricultural produces. This is reason why, the Maharashtra state agricultural marketing board (MSAMB) established on 23rd march 1984 at Pune. Under the 39A section of Maharashtra Agricultural Marketing (Regulation & Development) act 1963, the Agricultural Produce Market Committee has incorporated.
