Abstract

Introduction: The novel information technologies are the source of a new form of entrepreneurship known as e-entrepreneurship. The swift development of internet-related technologies has predictably had a significant effect on numerous possibilities for emerging innovative business concepts exploiting technology by establishing fresh entrepreneurial ventures.

Purpose: The new digital economy provides incomparable opportunities for many entrepreneurs to create new ventures in different business areas according to electronic commerce models. This paper discusses a novel approach taken by the young entrepreneur Raveendran of Byju by projected entrepreneurial intentions of starting Edtech Company. The case study confers how the learning app has used technology as an enabler and the unique combination of content, media and technology to create a learning app for students across the globe.

Methodology: The study describes an in?depth exploratory study of e-entrepreneur and throw more light on competitive elements applied by entrepreneur in starting up their business by using electronic platform.

Outcome/Result: It was found that Byju's e-learning platform has been extremely well received by student community. According to collected information, the authors propose the process of e-entrepreneurship and its competitive elements, and establish a basis for future research.
