Abstract

The financial system is a broader term which brings under its fold the financial markets and the financial institutions which support the system. Banks in turn have to face competition from non-bank financial institutions such as mutual funds, investment banks and pension funds. Banking and non-Banking together form financial institutes or intermediaries in Indian Financial system. These Institutes together play vital role in making money efficient and fuel the economic growth of the country. In the present research paper, an attempt is made to study the investors' and stakeholders' income of financial institutions in Nanded district. It is found that there is difference among the investors and stakeholders of financial institution which results in the selection of financial institution as either a bank or NBFC.
