Abstract

This study is based on two concepts first one is SHG background which contains concept of SHGs. And second one is MSRLM, UMED, NRLM concepts. This concept helps to understand the relationship between the MSRLM schemes and members of SHG and also the Socio-Economic Status of women in Self Help groups. Self Help Group is a group of few women which come together to solve their financial problems. Mainly members of the SHGs are women. Consequently, participation of women in the country's economic development is increasing. They also play an important role in elevating the economic status of their societies. This helps to the process of women empowerment.
