Abstract

Educational specialists believe, students who actively and enthusiastically participate in their learning process, they are more likely to succeed and thrive.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the executive club styles (converging, diverging, assimilating, and coordinator) VITKIN cognitive styles (field dependent and independent of context) and its role in the academic success of first year high school students of the city's BAVI.

The subjects consisted of 120 first year high school students who were selected using multi-stage random sampling. Method was correlation. To collect data related to the learning styles of Kolb's Learning Style Inventory and the data related to cognitive styles and forms a latent VITKIN test was used. Data obtained using Pearson correlation and were analyzed using SPSS 16 SPSS.

The results indicate that cognitive styles, learning styles and achievement Arabic language Abstract conceptualization and physics there is a significant positive relationship.

These results can help teachers to provide materials in a way that best suits their class is different in their educational planning and a way to avoid some of the artificial methods are employed, but ideas, skills and insights learned in the classroom to real-life experiences can be tested.
