The vegetables have become essential requirement of daily human diet owing to its nutritional value. The present study was aimed to assesss the level of acceptance of ecofriendly management practice in vegetable production by the tribal farmers in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh (India). Based on maximum area under vegetable grown by tribal in Kesla Ghatigaon block, ten villages of four RAEO circle were selected. The sample size was 120 respondents. The study revealed that majority of respondents (61.7%) belonged to medium adoption category of eco-friendly technologies. Variables like education, size of land holding, annual income, source of information and farm power/other equipment, social participation, socio-economic status, irrigation availability and innovativeness were positively and significantly correlated with adoption about eco-friendly management practices. Majority of respondents (87.5%) suggested for making availability of pest resistant varieties.
