Abstract

Evaluation of six chemicals and their combinations, as sprays in the mulberry farm against lichens has revealed that all the chemicals, at recommended concentrations, were significantly effective in reducing the severity of lichens. Among the chemicals tested, copper oxy choloride @ 0.3% proved significantly superior exhibiting 89.45 percent reduction followed by lime sulphur @ 0.2% + copper oxy chloride @ 0.3% exhibiting 82.54 per cent. Least reduction was recorded in lime sulphur @ 0.2% (33.32%).
