Abstract

The paper provides a thorough analysis of how gender and socioeconomic level influences poverty experiences. The study examines the impact of gender disparities and socioeconomic inequalities on poverty experiences, demonstrating how these factors interact to generate unique circumstances for men and women. An extensive analysis of existing material achieves this. The recognized variables that contribute to these discrepancies include inequality in the labour market, limited access to education, societal standards, and legislative frameworks. The analysis highlights the necessity of adopting an intersectional approach to comprehensively comprehend and tackle the varied realities of women living in poverty. The paper provides ideas for addressing the socioeconomic disparity and gender inequalities in poverty by implementing targeted interventions, inclusive economic development strategies, and promoting the empowerment of women. The results emphasize the significance of a comprehensive, gender-aware strategy for reducing poverty that confronts repressive systems and advocates for both economic fairness and gender parity.
