Abstract

Laboratory efficacy of myco-toxins of Beauveria bassiana and Verticillium lecanii against Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) and Jassid, Empoasca kerri Pruthiisan, infesting pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp) were tested. Exo and exo-endo toxin (undiluted and diluted) were tested following food-contaminated technique against H. armigera and E. kerri. Result indicated that exo-endo toxins mixture is more pathogenic compared to exo toxin only, for both the entomopathogenic fungi, but B. bassiana found more virulent to nymphs of E. kerri than V. lecanii.
