Effect of Curd Size on Seed Yield and Seed Quality Parameters of Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.)

The seed production of cole crop is profitable enterprise in the country. Public as well as private sector companies playing an important role in production of cole crop vegetable seeds but to obtain the optimum production of quality seeds the knowledge of economic yield and quality of seeds is very essential. The various curd size of the variety i.e. Pusa Snowball K-1 has a direct effect on seed yield and quality parameters in cauliflower. A wide spectrum of variation in respect of seed yield contributing characters and seed vigour parameters among various curd size was noticed. it can be concluded that among the treatments extra large curd size showed maximum potential for seed yield while, extra large and medium curd size were promising for seed quality parameters.
