In vitro screening of anti fungal properties of root, stem and bark of Zanthoxylum rhetsa (Roxb) DC in ethyl acetate and chloroform extract were carried out. Ethyl acetate and chloroform extract of root and stem possess good fungicidal properties against Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, Cladosporum sp., Macrophoma phaseolina and Trichoderma viridi. While root extract of ethyl acetate and acetone has less fungicidal property.
