Abstract

The present work aims to study the specific immune response shown by the fish against various doses of KOV antigen of Aeromonas hydrophila. Tissue culture techniques were used for the culture of lymphoidal cells of head kidney. The cell number was primarily calculated by using Nicobar's Chamber and the cells were infused with various doses of antigen. The highest number of lymphocytes transformation was observed in the well treated with 5.25µl antigen while the lowest number of lymphocyte transformation was observed in the treated with 0.002µl of antigen.
