Abstract

Field experiments were conducted on assessment of grain yield losses in mungbean due to web blight. The crop was protected 4, 3, 2 and 1 sprays of Carbedazim @0.01% started from 20 DAS at 10 days intervals. The results revealed that loss in yield of mungbean plants is directly related to severity of disease. Maximum yield loss (40.32%) was recorded in control plots which did not receive any spray of Carbendazim. One, two and three sprays of Carbendazime reduced yield loss 21.93, 12.62 and 3.03%) respectively.
