The treatments includes were three methods of sowing viz., pre sowing irrigation, field preparation and sowing with conventional seed cum fertilizer drill. (ii) Field preparation, without pre sowing irrigation and sowing with conventional seed cum fertilizer drill and (iii) direct sowing with Zero till drill in Main plot at three irrigation regimes i.e. IW/CPE=1.0,IW/CPE=1.2 and irrigation at CRI, Latetillering, flowering and dough stage.
