Abstract
It was undertaken to standardize the necessary cultural conditions for immature embryo culture of Capsicum annum. Chilly variety Kashi Anmol embryoes excised from seeds. Amongst the various combinations of embryo development media MED 6 medium supplemented with low concentration of auxin (NAAA 0.1 mg L−1) plus a relatively high concentration of gibberellic acid (GA3 0.5 mg L−1) was the best medium for development of embryos.
