The wooly bear, Pericallia ricini Fabricius (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae) is a polyphagous insect reported as a major pest of Kharif crops particularly in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Due to infestation partly or sometimes complete defoliation takes place, so that loss due to its severe infestation is worth billions every year. The insect growth regulators used in the present investigation are Triflumuron, Fenoxycarb, Diofenolan and Buprofezin. Different concentrations of insect growth regulators applied to test insect to find out the fecundity and fertility by pupal dip method, adult feeding method and residue film method.
