Abstract

The infection percentage brought about reduction in chlorophyll content of leaves of Eucalyptus plant. It is revealed that chlorophyll a in infected leaves of Eucalyptus was 9.6 ?g/gm fr. wt. and in healthy leaves it was 14.50 μg/gm fr.wt. It was also abserved that chlorophyll b was also reduced due to the infection. Chlorophyll b was 7.80 μg/gm fr. wt. for infected leaves and 13.90 μg/gm fr. wt. for healthy leaves of eucalyptus plant. The total chlorophyll content in leaves of eucalyptus plant was also reduced. Total chlorophyll was estimated 17.40 μg/gm fr. wt. for infected leaves and 28.40 μg/gm fr. wt. for healthy leaves of eucalyptus plant.
