Keratinophilus Fungi Affected by Seasonal Variation: A Study in Jhansi Vicinity

During winter season, the highest occurrence was recorded of Sporothrix schenckii, Chrysosporium indicum followed by Neosartoria fischeri, Trichothecium roseum, Trichophyton tonsurans, Malbranchea pulchella followed by Microsporum fulvum Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum then Trichophyton terrestre, Microsporum gypseum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton erinacei and least Histoplasma capsulatum, Chrysosporium queenslandicum.While in spring season the highest occurrence was of Trichophyton soudanense and of Chrysosporium queenslandicum and least was of Microsporum fulvum, Trichophyton tonsurans, Malbranchea pulchella, Neosartoria fischeri, Chrysosporium georgii, Chrysosporium merdarium. In summer the maximum occurrence was of Trichophyton soudanense, Chrysosporium carmichaelii and least of Malbranchea pulchella.
