Abstract

The Delhi Ridge is a northern extension of the ancient Aravali mountain range, extending from the southeast at Tughlaqabad having branches at places and ending in the north on the west bank of Yamuna river near Wazirabad barrage. Is the only natural forest which harbors wide variety of plants, In the present study, an extensive survey of various wild growing plants was carried out with a view to record the species which are medicinally important. A note on their past and present distribution, relative abundance and rarity, and the species that needs conservation is also appended.
