In eastern tarai region of UP Blumea DC. is the largest genus of Asteraceae represented by eight species. The present paper deals with a comprehensive taxonomic studies of different species of Blumea DC. found in this region. It includes key to species, short description, phenology and distribution pattern for their easy identification.
