Abstract

Three hand weedings (HW) at 30, 60 and 90 DAP and two interculturing (IC) at 45 and 90 DAP recorded significantly lower weed density, dry weight of weed and higher weed control efficiency reflected with higher cane yield resulted in to higher monetary return followed by the treatment having application of metribuzin 1.0 kg/ha as pre-emergence + one HW and IC at 60 DAP or atrazine 2.0 kg/ha as pre-emergence + one HW and IC at 60 DAP.
