Abstract

The highest reduction of larval population (85.41%) was recorded in talc formulation of Metarhizium anisopliae with the concentration of 5 ml/l at 10 DAS. Oil emulsion formulation of M. anisopliae found less effective in reducing larval reduction compared to talc formulation. Treatment with endosulfan @ 2ml/l (7.37%) and M. anisopliae Talc 5g/l (8.12%) found equally effective in recording least fruit damage. The highest yield of 532.98 q/ha was recorded in endosulfan. However, the yield in the treatment of M. anisopliae was comparatively lessthan endosulfan. Among the treatment of M. anisopliae formulations, M. anisopliae Talc @ 5g/l (507.55 q/ha) recorded highest yield followed by M. anisopliae Oil emulsion @ 5ml/l (506.44 q/ha) with 13.61 and 13.36 per cent increase in yield over control (446.71 q/ha).
