Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during 2009–10 and 2010–11 loamy sand soil of KVK farm Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, to study the effect of integrated use of graded levels of P2O5 (i.e. 0,15,30,60Kg/ha) and four levels of FYM (i.e.0,3,6,12 t/ha). FYM was applied only to green gram in both the years. the seed yield of green gram increased significantly with the application of FYM up to 6 t.ha−1 & fertilizer P up to 30KgP2o5 ha−1. The study revealed that the dose of P can be reduced to half for obtaining optimum yield of green gram when 6 tFYM ha−1 is conjointly applied. The yield of succeeding wheat crop in which previous green gram crop had FYM & application of 6 t. ha−1 & fertilizer P up to 60 Kg P2O5. Residual effect of 12 tFYM &application of 60 KgP2O5ha−1 produced the maximum wheat grain yield.
