Effect of Organic Manures on Yield and Quality of Banana cv. Grand Naine

The experiment conducted during 2011–2012 on effect of organic manures on yield and quality of banana cv. Grand Naine, revealed that response of organic manures was significant for all the quality parameters. Significantly maximum values for quality parameters were recorded by the plants receiving FYM 10 kg/pl + Neem cake 1.25 kg/pl + Vermicompost 5 kg/pl + Wood ash 3.75kg/pl in the treatment while, minimum values in the plants with N_{0 +} in the T₂ P₀₊ K₀ treatment T₅. The treatment T₁₃: 175:105:220 g NPK/pl recorded significantly maximum (81.15 t/ha) yield followed by T₁₁ (74.79 t/ha), while it was minimuminN_{0 +} K₀ in the P_{0 +} treatment T₅ (51.09 t/ha).
