Genetic Variability Studies in Gladiolus (Gladiolus grandiflorus L.)

Twenty cultivars of gladiolus were evaluated to determine genetic variability. Significant variations were recorded for various characters studied. Phenotypic and genotypic coefficients of variations were highest for number of leaves per plant, number of spikes per plant and corm weight and these characters are the most suitable characters for selection.
