Vannur Local. Sprays of growth regulators and chemicals significantly affected the plant height, number of leaves per plant, leaf length and breadth and collar diameter. However, yield parameters like bulb weight, bulb diameter, clove weight, number of cloves per bulb and bulb yield werenot affected by the sprays of growth regulators and chemicals. Sprays of growth regulators and chemical showever enhanced yield. The highest yield (7.31 t/ha) was recorded in T4 (Cycocel 1000 ppm).
