Abstract

An Experiment was conducted at Horticultural Research Nursery, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during kharif in the year 2011–12 to study the “Influence of chemicals, PGR's and cow-dung slurry as seed treatment on germiability, growth and development of Khirnee (Manilkara hexandra Roxb) under net house condition”. The investigation was carried out with Twelve treatments and growing soil media was used like soil + FYM + vermicompost + paddy husk in the composition of (6:2:1:1) andlaid out in completely Randomized Block Design with three replications. The results of experiment revealed that the treatment of GA3 200 ppm recorded the higher percentage of germination and maximum seedling length, root length, plant height, number of leaves and number of branches.
