Abstract

An experiment was carried out during two consecutive years of 2011 and 2012 at Student Instructional Farm of N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, Narendra Nagar (Kumarganj), Faizabad to study the relative effect of Rhizobium inoculation, zinc, molybdenum on nodulation uptake and nutrient restoration in summer urdbean (Vigna mungo L.). Results data revealed that significantly higher number and dry weight of root nodules per plant, seed and stover yield, seed protein content, nitrogen, zinc and molybdenum uptake of urd bean recorded with Rhizobium inoculation, zinc application @ 7.5 kg ha1 and molybdenum @ 1.0 kg ha−1 as compared to after doses of zinc and molybdenum.
