Abstract

Laboratory experiments were conducted to study the effect of different culture media, pH, and temperature levels ongrowth and sporulation of Fusarium oxysporumf.sp. gladioli. The fungus grew best on Richard's agar and Sabouraud's agar among seven culture media tested. The most suitable pH level for growth of fungus was 6.0 and 6.5. Growth of pathogen was maximum at 30°C (90.00mm) followed by 25°C(82.67mm) after nine days of inoculation, which was reduced drastically below 15°C and above 35°C.
