Correlation and path analysis were carried out in 20 varieties of chrysanthemum for different yield attributing traits. The results indicated that the number of flower buds per plant show highly positive significant correlation with number of leaves at harvest stage, number of flower stalks per square meter and vase life. Plant height at harvest stage showed positive correlation with flower bud diameter, flower stalk length, weight of cut stem and flower stalk girth. Positive correlation were recorded between number of leaves a tharvest stage with number of flower stalks per square meter and number of flower buds per plant. Flower stalk length and girth had positive and significant association with weight of cut stem and flower bud diameter. Flower bud diameter showed positive significant correlation with weight of cut stem. Number of flower stalks per square meter had positive significant correlation with number of flower buds per plant and vase life. Vase life exhibited positive and significant correlation with number of flower buds per plant. The path coefficient analysis at genotypic level revealed that number of leaves at harvest stage, number of flower stalks per square meter and vase life were exhibited highest direct positive effect on number of flower buds per plant at genetic level and also correlation was positive.
