Effect of Differente Sowing Date and Depth of Sowing on Chickpea Wilt (Furarium oxysporium f. sp. ciceri)

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is an important pulse crop growing all over the country in Rabi season. The six different sowing dates (1^st October, 8^th October, 15^th October, 22^th October, 29^th October and 05^th November) The average of disease intensity (20.55) and higher crop yield (11.63 q/ha) which was obtained in 29^th October sowing. The crop will be sowing in different depth viz, 0.1, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.0cm. The seed germination and wilt incidence of chickpea were not appeared at 0.1 to 0.75 cm. the shallow depth sowing of chickpea at 4.5 and 5.0cm deep produced significantly highest wilt incidence. The minimum average incidence. (10.6) was observed in 1.5cm depth of sowing.
