Agricultural extension undergoes changes in the process of technology transfer to a process of facilitating wide range of information, communication and advisory services. In the middle of these changes extension personnel are having the question of how best to harness Information and Communication Technology tools to benefit the farming community. So there exist need to understand and measure the attitude of extension personnel towards the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools is the prime. Hence, the present study was taken up to develop and standardize a scale for measuring the attitude of extension personnel towards ICT tools. The scale was constructed by following‘Equal Appearing Interval’ scaling technique developed by Thurstone and Chave (1929). This study was conducted in Coimbatore, Erode and Tiruppur districts of Tamil Nadu. The study revealed that majority of the extension personnel had moderately favorable attitude towards ICT tools.
