Evaluation studies carried out among 11 early maturing advanced potato hybrids. On the whole, genotype J/97–168 and Kufri Pukhraj performed well under southern transitional zone of Karnataka. Kufri Pukhraj found less susceptible to late blight, Spodoptera and potato leaf roll virus. Kufri Pukhraj and J/99–242 found less susceptible to Spodoptera and potato leaf roll virus.
