Abstract

Aqueous leaf extract of Ionidium suffruticosum was used for the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles and particles of average size of 5 nm and 45 nm were synthesized. Visible spectra showed peak at 440 nm suggesting the synthesis of silver nanoparticles, further, the identification of capping and stabilizing agents was done using FTIR spectroscopy.
