The result revealed that chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @0.006%, flubendamide 39.35SC @0.008% proved to be the most effective in minimizing the Spodoptera larval population followed by chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 0.0019, emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.002%, triazophos 40 EC @ 0.04%, spinosad 45 SC @ 0.015% and flubendamide 39.35 SC @ 0.004%. Application of chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @0.006%, flubendamide 39.35 SC @0.008%, chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @0.0019 effectively checked the larval population of semilooper. This treatment was followed by emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.002% and triazophos 40 EC @ 0.04%. Among the different insecticides tested triazophos 40 EC @ 0.04% emerged as successful treatment in minimizing the girdle beetle as well as stem fly infestation. However this treatment was followed by flubendamide 39.35 SC @0.008%, chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 0.006, spinosad 45 SC @ 0.015%, emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.002%, chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @0.0019, flubendamide 39.35 SC @0.004% and indoxacarb 15.8 EC @0.01%.
