A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of mulching and irrigation level on growth, yield and quality attributes of green gram (Vigna radiata (L.) wilczek with an ultimate aim of optimizing water and nutrient requirement of Green gram in semi-arid climate during dry season. Green gram (G-4) was sown in rows with 45 cm X 10 cm spacing using a seed rate at 25 kg/ha. The experiment was laid out in Split Plot Design with four replications with nine treatment combinations were used. The higher yields and net return from summer green gram can be obtained by irrigation the crop at 0.8 IW/CPE ratio (10 irrigation each of 50 mm depth at an interval of 7 days) along with wheat straw mulch @ 5 t ha-1 under south Saurashtra Agro-Climatic condition.
