Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at farmer field to determine the effect of bunch spray on cost benefit ratio of tissue culture banana cv. Grand Naine (AAA). Experiment was laid in RCBD with 16 treatments and 3 replications. Urea (1%, 2% and 3%), SOP (1%, 2% and 3%) and combination of urea and SOP were sprayed thrice after emergence of flag leaf. The results revealed that, bunch sprayed with combination of SOP (2%) and urea (1%) appeared to be increased (T10) cost benefit ratio (3.04), which was followed by (T11) 2 per cent sulphate of potash and 2 per cent urea (2.93), (T4) 1 per cent urea (2.90), (T5) 2 per cent urea (2.87), and (T2) 2 per cent sulphate of potash (2.79), Whereas, the minimum benefit cost ratio

(2.37) was obtained in control (T16).
