Abstract

An experiment was conducted to find out the host status of six brinjal genotypes against Meloidogyne incognita and Ralstonia solanacearum. The seedlings of brinjal genotype like Arka Neelkanth, Arka Sheel, Pusa Purple long, Pusa Purple round, Arka Shirish and PB-4 improved were transplanted in sick plot. Each treatment was replicated five times. 25, 35 and 45 DAT observations were recorded. The results showed that Arka Neelkanth showed moderately resistant reaction to bacterial wilt (14 per cent) and moderately susceptible reaction to M. incognita (68 galls/plant and 48.25 egg masses per root system).
