Abstract

A field experiment carried out during Kharif 2010–11. Eighteen treatments comprising of all possible combinations FYM (0, 5 t ha−1), nitrogen (0, 40, 80 kg ha1) and phosphorus (0, 30, 60 kg ha−1) were tried in RBD (factorial) with three replications. Results revealed that application ofnitrogen 80 kg ha−1 and phosphorus 60 kg ha−1significantly increased morphological traits and root yield of safedmusli. The application of FYM also had positive effects on growth and yield. The FYM also increases the efficiency of fertilizers.
