The research experiment on "Effect of NPK levels on growth, quality and yield of Orchid" in March 2012 at Hi-tech Floricultural and Vegetable Project under ICAR scheme of Niche Area of Excellence at College of Agriculture, pune-411005. The experiment was laid in Randomized Block Design with five treatments and four replications. The treatment under study were T1-NPK @ 60: 30: 30mg/wk/p, T2 NPK@ 90: 45: 45mg/wk/pl, T3-NPK @ 120: 60: 60mg/wk/pl, T4-NPK @ 150: 75: 75mg/wk/pl, T5-NPK @ 180: 90: 90mg/wk/pl. The results indicated that various biometric observations like maximum plant height (25.67 cm), more number of leaves (7.89), maximum stalk length (41.45 cm), maximum flower diameter (7.62 cm), found in treatment T5 (NPK @ 180: 90: 90 mg/wk/pl) as followed by T4.
