The study was undertaken to investigate the type of carbonated soft drinks selected by individuals of Udaipur district of Rajasthan state (India) and comparatively evaluated on the basis of sex, age, brands etc. the survey was conducted on 150 families using pretested and modified interview schedule. Cola type drinks were selected by the majority of individuals both males and females irrespective of age whereas adult females preferred more clear lime and cloudy lime non cola type drinks compared to adult males who were more inclined towards orange flavored drinks in non cola type category. However, non-significant differences were observed between male and female children and adolescents.
